Boosky, Bubbles, and Birthdays

div>

The first Saturday in August was sweet Bailey's (or Boosky as we like to call him) first birthday party! I cannot believe Kaitlyn and Drew's little sweet boy is already one - it feels like we just had their baby shower. They held it at this awesome park by the beach and the kiddos got to blow bubbles, play on the playground, and of course, enjoy the yummy Disney-themed cupcakes. I'm loving the fun pictures of Tyndell blowing bubbles with Reilly Sue - they are so cute together playing. Happy Birthday Boosky! We love you!

Proud of Our Big Girl!

So right after the Fourth of July, Tyndell started wearing panties all during the day and to school. She did so good that first week, that she even got a certificate and a crown! She really has done made a ton of progress on the potty training this summer (after many months of gearing interest and practicing in panties at night time)...all I can say is that one day...it just seemed to click with her and she wanted to be a "big girl" suddenly. So we are only doing the diaper at night thing now which is super awesome! I think her favorite panties are the Minnie Mouse, Nemo, and Jesse the Cowgirl ones - we are very Disney oriented these days. We also have some cool Yo Gabba Gabba ones, but I think I like them more than anyone haha....why can't Foofa be on all underwear? We are having some 'frady pooping' moments now but I'm getting on top of that with M&M's and bribery (not usually a fan of this parenting tactic, but hey - I'd take that over 2-year old constipation, right?). Anyway - needless to say - we are very proud of our potty using big girl! Go Tyndell!

Impromptu SeaWorld Adventure

At the very beginning of July, we were just having one of those weeks where you need a change of scenery. So on a random Friday, we decided to take off from work and leave really early in the morning and go to SeaWorld in Orlando for the day. We would normally never go up there in the hottest/crowded part of the year, but I definitely just needed some random fun distraction. Plus - we already have the season passes, so it's not really a big effort for us to go for a visit. Anyway - it was fun to check out the Sesame Street show finally, the new Shamu show (not as awesome as the pre-incident show obviously), and have fun on the kiddie rides. After one of the rides, Tyndell even said, "Mommy - I want it to go faster!" so I think we have a little daredevil on our hands haha. Anyway - it was a long day, but it was fun to do something impromptu and see Tyndell have a blast! This was the first visit where Tyndell truly indulged our 'stand next to THAT statue' requests for pictures.

Summer Playin'

Found some random but fun summer photos on my iphone that I thought would be nice to post/share!

Father's Day Weekend Fun

Started our Father's Day Weekend off with Friday Family Movie Night...Tyndell was given the option of Monsters, Inc. vs. Mary Poppins, and she surprisingly chose Mary Poppins. She loved it and kept saying, "Where's Poppins?" everytime Julie Andrews wasn't in the scene. I forgot how much I love that movie! As you can see, Jeff and Tyndell were loving the popcorn and both them finished theirs before I even sat down and were trying to eat mine. On Saturday, we hung out with some friends and neighbors....unfortunately, we didn't take any pics. On Sunday, we were lazy in the morning, had breakfast together and then met my parents for some putt-putt action in Delray. There is a semi-new course that we've heard good things about so we thought that would be something fun to do together. Unfortunately it got pretty humid pretty early so Tyndell spent a lot of time just hanging on this bench area and eating grapes and drinking juice, so I asked her to make funny faces while she did it. She was interested in the golf part itself for about 5 holes and then she just wanted to hold all the flags. I think Jeff actually won though we have some internal discrepancies in the scorekeeping process ;) .....and Dad had some pretty amazing skillz he was showing off as well. It was a super fun course and Jeff and I are going to plan a Pizza Night outing there again. Afterwards, we went to my parents' house for a kabab lunch and hanging out. It actually rained at their house so pool time wasn't possible. After Tyndell woke up from a nap, she ripped her clothes off and was determined to splash in the pool on the side and play with her turtle float since she couldn't get in. Enjoy pics of our fun weekend!

Puppy Love

Notice the consistent head lock around Karma the Bear....let's call it tough puppy love.
