Tyndell's Second School Pictures

We received Tyndell's school pictures this week and they turned out pretty well I think. How they get a toddler to sit still, I have no idea. Again, not a huge fan of posed pictures, in general, but you do have to get a few at least for memory sakes, right? Really what is interesting is to compare these with last year's first pictures and you can see a huge difference. Crazy! Anyway - couldn't help but share more of our beautiful girl.

Park Tuesdays

Since Jeff has his cool calculus-based physics class on Tuesdays, Tyndell and I have been trying to get together with the other Pizza Night ladies and kids at the park. So far, most of them have been rained out and have had to relocate to houses, but last week, it DID work out. We met at this awesome park in Boynton and I have to say that it might be my favorite park in the whole County now, mainly b/c the surface was so squishy and astro-turf-tastic and clean. Here are a few pics of the kids...unfortunately I didn't get a shot of either Max or Regan but I guess that speaks to how much fun they were having. Enjoy some cute ones of Tyndell, Madelyn, Reilly Sue, and Samantha. Supposedly NOAA has declared the dry season being here early so hopefully the park times will continue to work out....

Just A Rockstar Thursday - Plain White T's!!

That's right - I'm shamlessly posting photos of meeting the Plain White T's like I am 10 younger than I am! Who can resist the fun in meeting a cool band? My friend Rachel won a radio show contest to watch them play in the studio and had an extra ticket and invited me (Thanks so much, Rachel!). We had a great time watching Tom, Tim, and Mike from the band be interviewed and play four acoustic songs right in front of us - They played "Rhythm of Love," "Hey There, Delilah," "Boomerang," and "1, 2, 3, 4." They sounded awesome and were super nice to say the least! What a fun unexpected Thursday morning...

Surprise Dad!

The other weekend, Jeff, myself, Tyndell, and my parents flew up to Delaware for Jeff's Dad's SURPRISE 65th Birthday party! We started the weekend off with a nice lunch on the waterfront and then went on a really cool train/hay ride during the evening (Tyndell kept saying "doo-doo!" i.e. Choo-Choo!) on the Wilmington-Delaware Railroad. The next day we got to catch a glimpse of Kaitlyn's soccer game before getting ready for the party - and surprisingly to us - Dad WAS, in fact, surprised (Keeping secrets is pretty rare in this family)! He had no idea and had a great time catching up with lots of friends during the evening. Unfortunately, my camera battery died at the party and I didn't get that many shots (so Smith family - sorry you aren't on here - I blame technology!) of everyone that I wanted. Thankfully, I did get a pic of the amazing "tool cake" that Mom designed prior to everyone digging in! The next day, we managed to find a few hours to visit Longwood Gardens' Conservatory which is super beautiful. As you can see - lots of great fun was had that weekend....including the fun joke played on Dad with the gorilla sign placed on the front lawn with coordinating animals. Needless to say, Tyndell had fun kissing all the birthday chickens and cows. And yes - Elmo was in tow the whole weekend and he also enjoyed the lovely flowers at the Conservatory.
