4 Month Update!

Here are some pictures my parents took of all of us right before they left Florida, so I'm claiming them as the closest 4 month pictures. I am so horrible - all I've been doing is taking cheesy random phone pictures as opposed to nice real camera pictures. Eventually - I'm going to do better! When Tyndell had her 4 month appointment the other week, she weighed in at 10 lbs, 12 oz and 24 inches so I think she's slowly catching up to "normal." The strange thing is that the doctor she said her head was a little small - I have no idea what that really means but our doctor didn't seem too concerned. So - here are some things we've accomplished in the last month:
1. Two visits to the zoo
2. Two visits to the beach
3. Lots of hair loss and hair color changes (she's slowly going bald and blonde haha)
4. Laughter
5. Grabbing objects
6. More alertness during the day - especially on "walks"
7. Superhero-esque flying (she really likes being lifted up above your head)
8. Growing into socks and shoes!
9. Marathon sleep sessions at night (we are oh SO BLESSED!!)
10. The first crusty nose/sniffles and experience with the bulb squeezy thingie
Anyway - it's been a great month - getting more fun all the time. Tyndell has been such a good baby - very chill and happy. Jeff and I keep looking at each other thinking, "no - for real - when is she just going to start freaking out all the time?" It seems that as long as she's full and gotten her beauty, sleep, she's pretty happy. Ah - LOVE!
And as I side note - I LOVE LOVE LOVE the picture of Tyndell, my Mom, and I - how cute! We miss you guys!! Come back soon!!!

Happy 6th Anniversary!

This past Sunday, Jeff and I celebrated our sixth anniversary! Crazy! I can't believe we've put up with each other for this long! haha...just kidding - I think it's gone by so fast b/c it's been such a fun time. We've really been blessed with some good adventures together and becoming parents was our hope from last year's anniversary which obviously came true! I've said it before and I'll say it again - being married to Jeff is the joy of my life. So - to celebrate - we went to the zoo for the afternoon (picture of Jeff there with Tyndell) and out to the Melting Pot for dinner (no picture of steamy cheese fondue but you can enjoy this recent one of us together in Downtown Delray instead haha).

Forever Thankful

So...Mom & Dad left Florida yesterday after their 4-month stint as our across-the-street neighbors. It went by so fast! We will be forever thankful for all they did for us while we adjusted to being parents. So thanks Mom & Dad for (what will sound like an episode of "Worst Jobs" haha)....being there for us everyday, watching Tyndell for 6 six weeks before daycare was available, all the dinners, cleaning the garage, last-minute babysitting, hospital runs, the massive laundry/cleaning episodes, model airplane consulting, tips on Craig's list, interesting flower arrangements, and endless encouragement, support, and love. We couldn't ask for anything more! Thanks!!!

Holy Treefrog!

Check out the surprise outside the kitchen door one morning! So cute!

Smiley Bird

So at 3 1/2 months, Tyndell has become such a smiley bird. All you have to do is ask any question and she just laughs and smiles a ton - it's really fun. She is also really into baths and "walking" right now. During bathtime, she kicks and smiles like she is about to start swimming and soaks the floor. And she really likes to try standing up and has started picking her feet up like she wants to walk - hilarous! Anyway - it's really fun to see her becoming more and more aware of the world around her. Here is some good ones, including a cute one with our "sister" Lauren after bathtime.

St. Patty's Day Parade

We fought the crowds and made it to downtown Delray to check out the St. Patty's Day parade a couple of weeks ago - it was Tyndell's first parade! She was so enthralled as you can see...zzzz! But it was fun to take the parents down there to check out the craziness and meet Aaron and Shelley as well.
