Toddler PROOF!

I'm not going to lie - I'm loving these photos that I took this evening when we were playing. Tyndell was working the camera! These were just some of us at our neighborhood park and in the house discovering paper and crayons. And I finally got some proof that this girl CAN walk....she just chooses not to most of the time. We must have an opinionated girl on our hands - where did THAT come from? hahaha....

Watch Out! I BITE!

This is what you might see right before the Tyndell Monster bites your nose! Watch out! Ouch!

Surprise Visit from The Hurtados

On Easter weekend, our good friend from Michigan Tech (and ironically also from Boca Raton), Danny, and his wife, Diane and their sweet beautiful little girl, Sylvia Elena, were in town visiting family so we got to see them too! They now live in Austin and we hadn't seen them since we went there for their wedding and I was still preggo. It was so nice to meet Sylvia for the first time AND Tyndell just loved curling up with Danny...ah, too cute. LOVE you guys - so good to see you.

Happy Easter!

I couldn't get this little wriggly Tyndell Monster to sit still on Easter to get a good picture but you get the idea! I just love her little rabbit Easter Basket with her name on it. She sort of picked up the concept of Easter Egg Hunting at Church but all the other kids were too fast for her. Anything that involves putting something into and out of something else, Tyndell is down with that activity.

Boat Show Weekend

A couple of weekends ago, we went to the Palm Beach Boat Show with some of our best friends, the Bakers (part of the Pizza Night clan) with all our girls. From what I understand, it is one of the biggest, most famous boat shows around and I can understand why - I don't think I've ever seen such HUGE yachts and cool boats - some even had baby boats on them. Too cool....too bad I get seasick easily. I'm loving Reilly Sue and Tyndell ridin' in the Radio Flyer together! And if you haven't checked out the new improvements off of Flagler lately - you gotta go. It's so nice down there.

Naples Zoo Adventure

Ok....I admitingly haven't updated this in a while! I've been completely distracted by work and studying for my PE Exam (yes....for the second time arrrgghhh!). Now that I am over that hump, I figured it was time to give our fans what they want....an update on the Naples Zoo Adventure! Wooo! Why would we drive across the state to go to the zoo may you ask? Well - our friends the Beckwiths, who live in NC now, just happened to be in that area and we wanted to see them - yes - these are the kind of people that it's worth driving across Cypress National Preserve to get to - no doubt! So we met up at the Naples Zoo b/c it's right off Alligator Alley and it seemed like a fun place to go with all the kids. Honestly - it's a really cool zoo (especially the monkey island boat cruise) and we had a great time seeing Suzy, Greg, and their girls, yummy as pie Katie and precious little Julia! Here are just a few cute photos from the day. Thanks for meeting up with us Beckwith clan! I love the picture of the boys with all the kids...who knew that would happen when you guys were at JMU together?

Ladies Night!

Last week, some of my best lady friends and I actually took a break from crazy busy lives and decided to have a Ladies Night! Woo! It was so nice to have a break for a few hours and just hang out together. Altogether, it was Marlis, Kaitlyn, Tammy, Shelley, Keri-Ann, and I hanging out, drinking wine (except for our cute Mommy to be, Kaitlyn), and painting pottery. Tammy planned the whole idea and we all had a great time. We all wanted to sit next to the resident artist, Shelley, if you cannot tell from her very beautiful and planned out pattern she painted (freehand!) on a puppy cookie jar! Some of the finished products are shown in the top picture - we had a plate, bowls, frog, ying/yang salt & pepper shakers, and I did a dog bowl with a gnome painted on it (are you suprised?). Awesome time ladies! Can't wait til the next one!
