The other weekend, we celebrated sweet Tyndell's 3rd Birthday! I cannot believe it - especially this past year which has been the fastest year of our lives. Busy, busy, busy has been the theme for our little goose in 2011. We have had a blast though - it's been fun going back and looking at this year's pictures and savoring the memories already. This party had been a long time coming...pretty much since we went to Disneyland in April in CA, Tyndell had talked about having an "It's a Small World" party, including a "Small World cake." She has been very specific about that haha....obviously she was very taken with the ride. So obviously we tried our best to make that happen. We had a nice, quaint party at our place last Saturday and invited the Pizza Nighters as well as a few of Tyndell's classmates that we know she talks about all the time. We put a balloonist style bounce house in the backyard and let the kids run amuck as usual. I found some cool graphics to decorate the house with and use for the invitations and even made Tyndell a blanket with some of them that served both decoration/present purposes. Jeff found someone at a local bakery to make that beautiful Small World clock cake and it was delicious too! Notice Tyndell with her school BFF, Tara, indulging in a plethora of wild animals. They both love baby jaguars and tigers ha! Tyndell got some amazing and fun gifts...and honestly...we spent the whole next day (after sleeping in of course) playing with all of them and finding the perfect place for them. Thanks to everyone who came and loved on our little one and celebrated with us! Happy Birthday Tyndell!
