An Atlanta Weekend According to My iPhone

The other weekend, we made a long overdue trip over to see the B&B in Roswell, Georgia!  We had  this weekend on our calendars for quite some time to go check out the Earth Day Sweetwater Festival that weekend and I kept thinking, "Surely we can see them before that weekend in April," but heck if life didn't throw us for a loop the past few months and we didn't see them until this trip.  Thank goodness for Outlook which reminds us all which weekends to take a break and we finally made it over there.  It was so good to see our good friends and their growing cutie pie boy, Declan!  And it was so great to also see the new bun in the oven in Beth's cute belly (which is still so much smaller than I was with Silas at this stage! I'm going girl with this one!).  We arrived late Friday with the two kiddos and two dogs in tow.  On Saturday morning, we started out with a fantastic breakfast a la Brennan before checking out his tennis game for a bit and then getting the kids down for a required nap before the day's main event.  After they woke up, we loaded up and went to the MARTA station to catch a train into the city to go to the Sweetwater Festival since one of Brennan's favs, Anders Osborne, was playing that evening.  After two hours, we finally made it there but there were a couple of train issues and a very long line to get into Candler Park.  The kids did great despite the unpredicted length of time before arrival.  We hung out for a bit on a blanket, had some snacks, and watched the kids dance!  Even Silas seemed to enjoy his first festival, but it was cutest watching Tyndell and Declan share ice cream and dance like fairies together.  We got back to their house kinda late, but it wasn't too late for another one of Brennan and Beth's amazing dinner creations (I'm in love with balsamic anything right now thanks to Beth) before bedtime.  The morning was lazy and Tyndell and Jeff took a spin in the hot tub before we had to pack up and head out.  Car ride home included lots of movies and rockstar naps with dogs.  Thanks B&B for a  great weekend!  We love ya'll.
