Jeff took this sweet shot of our hibiscus bush. We have two and they play tag blooming so that we always have something pretty on the side yard. This is one plant that hasn't gotten burnt by the Florida sunshine.

when you say "ode to toby" are you referring to the cat I had and how Laura took it to the human society and then planted a plant like this one in the yard in toby's honor?? If so, that is awesome that you remembered all that and took the opportunity for the flashback. I did love that cat. He was so cuddley.
