Some of you may know that when we first moved down to Florida, it was the beginning of the holidays. It was also the first "real" Christmas since we were back from Africa, so of course we wanted a tree. But we didn't know the tricks of buying a tree in Florida, so we ended up with this lame bush of a Christmas ornament. This year we got a bigger one and did put some other decorations up. Even though it doesn' t look like Christmas here, we're trying to make it feel like it.

Brooke I love your tree and your house looks so big and clean. Very nice. Matt and I have to come down there soon. We are planning. Don't you worry about that. We had a Christmas party planned for this past saturday but the power went out on thursday and we didn't get it back til last night. Huge bummer. So FL sounds great right now. :)
